For the last several weeks, FoxTale Edit has been working on compileing great tips for filming better home videos. We are doing this to help out our clients who like to bring us their home movies to edit. There are several websites that offer tips on this same subject, but we want to offer people more than just the basics. In the coming weeks, we will be releasing a free collection of these tips (18 in total) through the form of an e-book, DVD, and our website. These tips will cover the basics, but also more detailed advice that offers a lot of help without getting too technical. FoxTale Edit feels that this offereing will help show those that are interested how just a few changes can make their home movies into an enjoyable experience.

FoxTale Edit has completed editing on a 4 minute promotional video for magician and entertainer, Irish Billy. The purpose for the video is to showcase the various magic, comedy, and fun filled entertainment that Irish Billy brings to the young at heart. A combination of footage from live shows and studio recordings were used to produce this fast paced promo. After Effects was used to create the mystifying opening sequence and various titles throughout. To match the mysterious feel of a magical act, the titles were made with animated smoke elements, and set in a 3D space.

FoxTale Edit has recently completed a short 1 minute promotional video for the Park District of Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The park district is trying to revitalize their lakefront and had asked FoxTale Edit to put together a video to briefly showcase the improvement plans. Kirsten Solberg produced and gathered material for the project.

FoxTale Edit announced that it will begin a partnership with Golden Fox Productions, a new Chicagoland company focusing on preserving peoples lives and cherished memories through custom books and video services. As a result of this exciting partnership, FoxTale Edit will be providing editing services to all of Golden Fox’s video based projects.
This is an exciting partnership for both companies, and it is believed to bring new and exciting work to FoxTale Edit. Golden Fox Productions has recently started offering a service to their customers that is a full length documentary film about their life. On top of that, other video services being provided include personal video messages and tributes that can be used for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and more. FoxTale Edit has an exclusive agreement with them to provide all of the editing services for these films. Both companies will also be working together to provide high quality photo preservation services and photo montage videos.
